This new Kodak microfiche digital system makes this microfilm machine more powerful, versatile and cost effective. The 2400DSV-E is the ideal solution for a wide range of applications primarily because of its versatility and ease of use. With dual output, you can switch from printing to digital scanning to your PC at the 'touch-of-a-button'. It's modular design makes it ideal for low-medium volume scanning of all formats of media from microfiche, jackets, aperture cards, 16 & 35mm roll film and 16mm M and ANSI cartridges. The 2400DSV-E is built on proven products - the 2400DSV, the 2400D Digital Reader Printer and the 2400DS Digital Universal Scanner but combines the 'best-of-both worlds' into an 'award-winning' new product.

DSV-E Features in addition to the DSV
- Enhanced 600 dpi CIS Array for even higher quality of digital images (new Contact Image Sensor is an improved version of the previous CCD array)
- Date and time printing on the page (when the optional High Speed Video Laser Printer is used)
- Image Distortion Correction (this feature is used on images that are viewed as rounded images due to filming primarily on 35mm images at high resolution. This feature "squares" the distorted image to make it clearer to read).
- Optional second universal paper cassette option for the high speed video printer. (This will enable an additional 250 sheets of paper to be held)
- Optional USB2 interface in place of the existing SCSI-2 interface for ease of integration
Dual-Output Functionality The 2400DSV-E scans images and outputs to the Video Laser Printer or through the optional PC Interface cable kit. All controls are mounted on the front-panel for ease of operation.
Scan directly to laser printer or to PC at 'up-to' 600dpi for use in web sites, e-mail, or fax with PowerFilm Application Software.
